BESTMED announced the launch of BESTMED IQ, a major evolution of its medication management software delivering actionable insights, intelligence and impact for aged care providers.
BESTMED IQ introduces a highly configurable reporting and analytics suite enabling deep customisation, intuitive drill‑down to individual residents, and proactive alerts to understand how processes are working.

BESTMED IQ+: premium benchmarking and research-led intelligence
BESTMED IQ+ is a premium module for organisations seeking deeper analytical capability and sector‑wide context. IQ+ provides access to benchmarking with risk‑adjusted comparisons that enable true like‑for‑like insights.
IQ+ is designed to move beyond static benchmarks, generating actionable insights that highlight where performance differs from expected outcomes once resident complexity and clinical risk are accounted for. Using the latest machine learning models, it allows clinical teams to check anomalies and be comfortable with the reasons for the differences using research-proven insights.
“IQ+ doesn’t provide a verdict. It allows providers to ask a more meaningful question,” said Offer. “Not just ‘how do we compare?’, but ‘given our resident mix, what should we expect and where can we improve?’ That’s where real insight lives.”
Rolling out from mid-2026
BESTMED IQ rolls out from August 2026, with existing customers able to adopt the new reporting experience while maintaining continuity with current workflows.
