BESTMED Delivers Successful Rollout
BESTMED is proud to have partnered with BaptistCare to successfully roll out BESTMED electronic medication management (EMM) across residential aged care homes in Victoria, and Tasmania.
Delivered over a fast-paced timeframe, the rollout now supports the medication management of more than 1,600 residents across BaptistCare’s Victoria and Tasmania homes. Over 1,100 staff have been trained to use BESTMED system, with more than 200 GPs now prescribing through BESTMED and six pharmacy partners supporting medication supply.
This achievement reflects the strength of collaboration between BESTMED and BaptistCare. Our team had the privilege of working closely with BaptistCare’s project team and individual homes, all aligned in their commitment to ensuring a seamless transition and delivering meaningful improvements in resident care.
Building a More Connected Future
The implementation of BESTMED marks an important milestone in BaptistCare’s digital transformation journey. It enables a more connected and streamlined approach to medication management, improving visibility and coordination across care teams, prescribers, and pharmacies.
We are grateful to BaptistCare for their partnership, trust, and collaboration throughout this journey.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this transformative project. Together, we are building a safer, more efficient future for medication management, one that delivers lasting benefits for residents, care teams, and the broader aged care community.
