BESTMED & Best Practice Software Announce Integration

BESTMED, Australia’s favourite medication management solution, is proud to announce its integration agreement with Best Practice Software, the leading provider of GP software in Australia. This partnership will transform the experience for doctors managing patients in residential care homes.

  • With single sign-on to BESTMED from Best Practice Software, clinicians will have access to the latest resident charts and medication lists. The integration will eliminate the need for duplicate data entry currently required after visits, streamlining the process of updating patient notes and prescribing information.

  • Seamless authentication to BESTMED within Best Practice Software
  • Automated chart access, allowing prescribers to securely retrieve and update BESTMED patient charts from within Best Practice
  • FHIR-based medication data exchange, enabling patient notes and prescribing data to be saved from BESTMED to Best Practice

“The integration will be available at scale to over 1,250 residential aged care homes, delivering a step-change in experience, saving doctors valuable time and improving the accuracy of displayed data,” said Phil.
